We’re thrilled to share the news that we have received 2 Gold medals at the 26th Grand International Wine Award - Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2020.

We entered the Trentham Reserve 2018 Tumbarumba Chardonnay and the Trentham Reserve 2016 Heathcote Shiraz, both of which received 89-90 points. The wines were judged on three aspects - visually, nose and taste – and both wines performed exceptionally well on each!

This wine competition has been one of the most important wine competitions in the world and is the most prestigious in Germany. A highly qualified international jury, comprising oenologists, winemakers, professional wine traders, sommeliers and expert journalists, taste the wines in blind tasting rounds. Wines are arranged according to their product category, origin, quality level and flavour, and evaluated in accordance with the international 100-point scheme of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).

268 wine experts from 54 countries traveled to the six-day tasting to taste and evaluate almost 7,500 wines from all over the world. Winning wines from the MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting will be presented to the specialist public at the world's largest and most important wine trade fair, the ProWein in Düsseldorf in 2020.
